Granite floor

Granite floor covering is used in finishing of public buildings and structures, and for creation of unique home interiors. For granite floor inside residential buildings, 10 mm thick tiles are recommended. Floors in the interior areas with high foot traffic, require 20 – 30 mm thick tiles. In the industrial areas, such as show grounds where heavy vehicles may move, granite slabs, up to 40 mm, should be used. When choosing granite tiles for flooring, you should take into account tile surface texture. In residential premises, polished granite looks better. Normally, for public and technical areas, granite is recommended with structural surface, received as a result of bush hammering or thermal treatment.
